Joe Dombrowski and Dexter Mayfield Brought the Laughs on the Latest Logo Live

Are you living for Logo Live?!

The second episode of Logo’s twice-weekly Instagram Live series tackling all things LGBTQ culture premiered last night, and honey, she has the range.

Joining host Johnny Sibilly for this installment were Joe Dombrowski and Dexter Mayfield. Dombrowski, also known as Mr. D., is a former teacher who went viral back in 2017 with his April Fool’s spelling test stunt. Since then, he has appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, toured his one-man show, Indoor Recess, and hosts the podcast Social Studies.

During their conversation, Sibilly and Mr. D kikied about the latest trending topics, including Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke coming out as a lesbian, Rudy Giuliani’s latest clown claiming voter fraud, and the new country classic “Dicked Down in Dallas.”

For the next segment, Sibilly spoke with his friend Dexter Mayfield, a dancer, model, and choreographer who you might recognize from Taylor Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video or Rihanna’s latest SavageXFenty runway show. When asked about what the Mayfield universe will look like in 2030, he said that “the sky is the limit,” including his dream of being Marvel’s first fat-bodied superhero. We would love to see it!

Missed Thursday’s ep? No worries. Watch Sibilly and Mr. D’s hilarious chat below, and click here for Logo’s full interview with Mayfield.

New episodes of Logo Live premiere every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm EST on Logo’s Instagram, so get into it!

I write about drag queens. Dolly Parton once ruffled my hair and said I was “just the cutest thing ever.”
